Bio

Lyndon Sharp
I enjoy interface and information design, web analytics, eGov, net statistics, history, travelling, reading, eating out and good wine. I also have a bad habit of collecting interesting historical objects and print ephemera.
I have a special interest in the way technology is used in learning and the delivery of Government and educational information on the web. I present at conferences and seminars on these and related topics.
I currently manage information services at the Office of the Board of Studies NSW, which manages the Higher School Certificate and School Certificate public examinations for the state of New South Wales.
Among other things, this involves managing -
- a team that designs, develops and maintains around 20 educational websites
- several large-scale state-wide e-Assessment online testing and examination delivery operations
- web content management, print design and book editors
- print publishing and distribution around the state.
Prior to that, I did an Arts degree and Teaching Diploma at Macquarie University, teaching Modern History, English and Computing Studies at James Ruse Agricultural High, the most academically successful selective school in New South Wales.
